Emphasis for both boys and girls in this clinic will be on shooting, ball handling, and offensive skill sets that will help students develop both individually and as a member of a team. These skills will be utilized in daily scrimmage situations.

The focus will be on teaching basic fundamentals and skills needed to improve confidence of young boys and girls. The week will be full of fun, games, and prizes. Techniques, mechanics, and mental approach are broken down into a step-by-step process, explained and taught, and then applied with positive correction and repetition.

Camp is for all positions for both offense and defense. Drills and activities are structured around a typical varsity practice. Through a fun and innovative team, we enrich Plano by providing inviting spaces, caring service, outstanding value, and memorable experiences. The Recreation Division accomplishes this by providing relevant and outstanding recreational opportunities through quality service, programs and facilities.
Students will film, direct and edit their own digital video creations.
Students enrolled in this course will amaze their peers with green screen and special effects work. Refunds requested less than two weeks prior to the start date will not be granted, unless the vacated spot is filled. Medical refunds requested prior to the start date of camp will be granted in full. Refunds will not be granted due to the following reasons: Parents are responsible for making sure children are registered in the correct camp program or session.

If an error is found after registration please call and have it corrected prior to the camp season. Refunds will not be granted after the camp season has ended. Staff at all recreation facilities or the Plano Parks and Recreation administrative office,can process all refund requests made within these guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Chauncey Deller, outdoor program supervisor at Memberships are not required to attend recreation courses.
Rental time is two hours and certified lifeguards are provided. Ask about our Party Area Rentals which will allow you to have your party during the public swim times! Pool rentals are available to non-residents for an additional fee.
We encourage you to enjoy the outdoor pools at Oak Point Recreation Center, Liberty Recreation Center or Tom Muehlenbeck Center this summer and look forward to seeing you back at the new and improved Jack Carter Pool once renovations are complete.

Class instruction will include basic water skills to increase water adjustment. The instructor will work with all individuals to help them gain confidence and improve kicking and stroking ability as they are ready for each new swimming skill.
A responsible adult is required to assist with the participant in the water.
